This shirt is really a play on the traditional, classic men’s shirt, with it’s boxy cut and very relaxed fit.
 
It has a “cutaway” collar favoured by the chic and elegant, as it shows off a beautiful neck line, and allows a perfect space for the tie knot.
 
As we always favour mixing, matching, and cross-over inspiration, in the Maya shirt there is a lace trim instead of the traditional cuffs and hem.
 
The soft floating lace comes from Calais, an area known for its fine french lace “savoir-faire” . It’s made in a family owned company for generations, and on the original lace machines.
 
The dragon embroidery is on the upper left sleeve .
