The wind-swept grace of searing sand dunes; the richly sweet fruit of the stubbornly resilient date palm; the lavish hospitality and colourful dress of the ruggedly enduring Bedouin people – the fascinating paradoxes and intrigue inherent to the deserts of her native Middle East permeate the collection of Karnit Aharoni.

A true citizen of the world, Karnit has taken inspirational cues from her time growing up in Israel and New Zealand, and living in London, New York and Milan, where she worked with and for such icons as Donna Karan and Ermenegildo Zegna. Accordingly, the Karnit Aharoni collection projects a distinctive and thoroughly authentic international élan. The aesthetic, while perceptibly rooted in classical design, is fresh and dynamic – imbued with modern artistic details gleaned from her experiences on four continents.
Karnit’s designs are at once timeless and visionary; informed by elements of menswear, but always decidedly feminine and classically sexy. The purposeful silhouettes wear easily and effortlessly. Everything about the pieces says high-end, glamour-chic, timeless and very often season-less, adapted to contemporary life style on the go.

The collection is entirely designed in France, Karnit’s current home, and produced in France Italy and Portugal, with the great attention to quality and passion for craft and detail one would expect from French-made fashions. The smart, sumptuous, subtly sexy all-day-wear makes extensive use of exclusively designed and developed textiles, exceptionally textural embroidery and luxurious knits.

The date palm tree, cultivated in Karnit’s homeland since the origins of recorded history, is a recurring motif throughout the collection. The dragon – embroidered on each item and the collection’s brand mark – is from a piece of heirloom jewellery once worn by Karnit’s grandmother, who she describes as “a strong and inspiring woman in a long line of equally powerful and active women, who pave their own paths.”

AN EMBROIDERY STORY
Passionate about all aspects of fashion, we try to keep all design developments in-house, from the fabric design, to colour developments and all the way to the embroideries.

With great attention to everything, what makes a great difference are the quality and details: exclusive jacquards, lace mother of pearl buttons, and our great love for embroidery.
​
From a family heirloom jewellery we use the dragon as the brand’s emblem. Beautifully embroidered on the upper left sleeve of every shirt. The date tree adorns some pieces of the collection as well.
​
All the embroideries are developed, by a master embroider in France, a technique and experience preserved in the great traditions of “couture” and the “petites mains”.
A JACQUARD STORY
With great attention to quality, passion for details and love of fashion,we make extensive use of exclusively designed and developed jacquards. Perfect for the shirt: 100% cotton, light, smooth and different, they
are a way of expressing a real “savour faire” and keep all our developments in-house, from beginning to end.

There are 2 important elements in the collection which are: the date palm tree, cultivated in Karnit’s homeland, beautiful and strong, and the dragon, the brand’s mark- is from a piece of heirloom jewellery once worn by karnit’s grand-mother.
​
These two elements were developed into jacquards: a special weaving technique , the elements are woven in the fabric, with accurate precision to the tiniest details.

The dragon jacquard, inspired by the heirloom jewellery and the women who wore it, with the dragon all over, as well as the wind-rose, symbol
of the constant traveller.

The date tree jacquard with the all over date trees. Inspired by the Sini desert, with its vast open spaces and the red sea, with the deep colour of the water, stretching out to the horizon.
